Chromophoric dissolved organic matter (CDOM) showed an approximate conservative behavior during estuary mixing, and can be used as the tracer of water mass movement. Based on the waters survey measured data in the Dayang River Estuary on May 6, 2009, this paper has analyzed optical properties and remote sensing retrieval model of CDOM. The results showed that CDOM mainly came from terrestrial input in the study area, and its composition was relatively stable, so the study area was coastal case II water region; spectral slope Sg,275~295 and absorption coefficient ag(400) all had indicative effect on the relative size of the CDOM molecular weight; in addition, CDOM exhibited a conservative mixing behavior, with the injection of fresh water in rivers, diffusion, water salinity increased, the high concentration CDOM from the river was diluted, so CDOM concentration decreased, meanwhile the high percentage of macro molecular humic acid contained the river water reduced, correspondingly, the high percentage of small molecular fulvic acid contained the ocean increased, so the Sg and M value increased; the performance of the model based on Rrs(531)/Rrs(551) sensitive band was the best, the coefficient of determination up to 0.84, so this model could be used as remote sensing retrieval model of CDOM in the Dayang River Estuary. |
